As the school year approaches, or might have started for you, it will be very different no matter where you attend or what grade you are in. So in these times it’s very important to be versatile when it comes to studying for your classes. Here is a list of some study habits I’ve used during my hybrid classes:
Paper Notes-
Paper notes are easily the best option for synchronous online classes. Having to use a meeting app and a note taking app, and having to flip between them might get frustrating. Having a notebook or binder nearby to quickly take notes is really one of the best ways to take notes and study.
Online Notes-
Whie online notes might not always be the best option for availability, the efficiency of using a document or other way to make notes online is really where it shines. Easily being able to change text features and to quickly place images really helps with organization, and being able to type and delete quickly helps note taking become much more quicker than writing it down on paper. Also, it’s better for the environment so that's always a positive.
Flashcards-
Flashcards are an easy way to remember huge lists of vocabulary or to study major details from your notes, they usually take a long time to get prepared but are worth it. I prefer using online flashcard apps due to it being easier to make and having more options than just memorizing it.
Planner/Calendar-
Planners and Calendars are really useful for plotting out your work between school days. Even having a calendar that is updated by your teachers for your work, it’s still important to get your life scheduled. Having routines through the days will make you less likely to forget assignments for your classes and memorizing your schedule can help plan out time you need to spend for work.
